Schools do not need to register for the Premier's Reading Challenge.

All Public schools exist in the PRC's database. New non-government schools are added to the PRC site after a school has administered a NAPLAN exam.

The 2024 Challenge opens 26 February 2024. Schools are registered for the Challenge when a student or coordinator enters a book into an online Student Reading Record.

Principals should ensure that all PRC coordinators are authorised through AMU.

Public school students automatically have access to the PRC through their DoE log-in information.

For non-government schools, coordinators need to be given access to the PRC systems by their principal, and are responsible for creating student accounts so that students can access the challenge. For more information about this process, refer to Managing Non-Government Coordinator Accounts
