NSW Premier's Reading Challenge Support

The table below outlines which certificates students are eligible for, depending on how many years they have completed the Challenge.

Students in year 10 are able to participate in the Challenge. If their completion of the Challenge in year 10 makes them eligible for a PRC medal, and they did not receive one in 2023, they will receive their medal in 2024. Students will only receive a medal once - either in year 9 for completing the challenge every year from Year 3 to Year 9, or by achieving an SRR count of 10. 

To check which student are eligible for a Gold certificate or a Platinum certificate, log in to the website and go to:

Reports > SRR Count

Ensure the correct Challenge Year is selected.  Click the Generate button.

Students whose names do not appear on your SRR Count report are not validated for the current Challenge. You can check the status of their Student Reading Record (SRR) in the Not Validated report. Students whose names do not appear on the Not Validated report did not start a SRR in the Challenge.
