You can create a Virtual Student Reading Record to add one or two books to a number of Student Reading Records (SRRs) at once (eg a whole class or grade).

To create a Virtual Student Reading Record, login to the PRC website and go to:

Student Reading Records > Copy Student Entry > Create Virtual Student Reading Record (tab)

On this page, add the books that the students have read.

Once you have added the books, scroll down to Student Search and select the students you want to copy the books to. You can search for individual students, all students in a selected grade, or all students at your school. Enter the fields as required and select Search.

A list of students similar to the following appears:

In the first column of the table

  • tick the names of the students you want to copy the books to (you also have the option to ‘Select All’, then deselect individual students)
  • select Copy

The books you entered in the Virtual Student Reading Record will then appear in the SRRs of the students you selected.

If an SRR becomes ‘Complete’ by adding the books from the Virtual Student Reading Record, it will still need to be validated before the Challenge closes, to ensure the student is eligible for a certificate in Term 4.
